Daan Utsav, also termed as the “Joy of Giving Week,” is a celebration in India that takes place yearly from 2nd October to 8th October. Now is the time to participate.
This week-long fervor and spirit of giving in the air spurs Movators to get involved in acts of kindness and generosity toward the community and social causes. This season is in line with the values of Mahatma Gandhi, whose birthday falls on 2nd October. Movate is delighted to share how our vibrant team of Movators across India are giving their best. The driving force: generosity
Talk about being possessed by a generous spirit! Daan Utsav is a reminder of the significance of contributing back to our society. It surpasses socio-economic lines, beckons people from every stratum of society—students, families and organizations—to go beyond their usual routines and think about noteworthy causes. Though it is a short season, it exudes and inculcates humanity and empathy by spurring everyone to uncover their true generous self.
Small yet meaningful gestures brighten the day and foster a sense of belonging, especially for those in need.
Simple and random acts of kindness
Whether through donations, volunteering, or simple acts of kindness, Daan Utsav nurtures a sense of belongingness, goodwill via simple acts of kindness, volunteering and donations. At Movate, we believe in the power of community engagement and social responsibility. Our Movators are actively participating in Daan Utsav by engaging in diverse initiatives toward the society and those in need. Be it time, money, resources, or skills, Daan Utsav invites all to be a part of the fiery giving season. When everyone jumps on the bandwagon during this time, what a difference it makes!
Giving need not be limited to cash or stuff. Think about helping underprivileged children, old age homes, raise funds, help government schools, contribute to environmental green initiatives and more. If you happen to stumble on this post during the event, then now is the time to get in and be part of it. Encourage others to join the movement, volunteer in CSR activities toward local NGOs, donate (food, clothes, and other goodies), visit our stalls (engage in some activities) at our India offices, share your time and presence, and spread the awareness of Daan Ustav via social media channels.
