Job title: Test Engineer
Work Location: Bangalore/Chennai
Experience: 3 – 6 Years
No of Openings: 4
Shift timing: 9.00 AM to 6.00 PM IST
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Plan and prioritize automation testing activities.
- Write, design, and execute automated tests by creating scripts that run testing functions automatically.
- Maximize test coverage for the most critical features of the system.ï‚·
- Determine the priority for test scenarios and create execution plans to implement these scenarios.
- Write documentation for automated processes, including test plans, test procedures, and test cases.
- Build and maintain test automation frameworks.
- Log and document bugs in the tracking system.
- Set up and maintain Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD)
Required Skills:
- 4-6 years of experience in manual and automation QA testing.
- 2+ years of hands-on experience in automation testing using Selenium, Playwright, or similar frameworks.
- Strong understanding of software development lifecycle and QA methodologies.
- Experience in functional and regression testing of web and mobile applications.
- Hands-on experience in testing multi-channel commerce or ERP systems.
- Experience in testing web, finance, or eCommerce applications.
- Familiarity with Agile methodology and working in Agile teams.
- Work experience with offshore/nearshore/onshore models.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of CI/CD processes and experience integrating automated tests within deployment pipelines is a plus.
